Pokémon - Diversions

If you're looking for your casual journey/battle roleplay, look away. Here in Diversions there will certainly be a journey, and battles may well break out. But these journeys will make your trainers grow, and the battles will be against not Pokémon but against whatever comes in your way - whatever diversions prevent you from reaching your goal. If you're looking for a journey that will test you, test your character and connections with your Pokémon, test your ingenuity and your instincts - and if you want the prize of that test to be your heart's desire, then you have come to the right place.

Diversions is a contest for trainers and three of their Pokémon. It is a race to overcome obstacles and reach the final goal, where the prize is claimed to be a wish for the winner. The full rules will not be revealed until all entrants have named the three Pokémon that will accompany them.

So in one last attempt to capture your interest... this roleplay promises to be a fairly psychological one, in that the main things that will shape it will be how characters respond to challenges. There are many ways to get around diversions, after all. And when you are in a winner-takes-all race against other people, how would you react? Would you help someone who needed help, even if they were your rival? Or would you race after your goal and leave them to fend for themselves? And remember, the human mind does not forget so quickly.

I hope this sounds like something that might be interesting for all of you! If you like puzzles, then hopefully you'll enjoy this. :3 So, to join, just say the name of the trainer who is entering the contest - maybe give a link to their character page if they have one - and their three Pokémon. Pokémon may be anything other than legendaries. And the specific details of the roleplay will be revealed after that, for everyone who's really confused by this point. xD Just, uhh... trust me? I think it has the potential to be fun and interesting.
