Starting Again in the Isshu Region

Finally, what everyone has been waiting for: a completely 3D Pokemon graphics for the DS! With the step up to the more advanced handheld console, many expected Diamond and Pearl to be more complex and not be the odd mix of 2D and 3D. Another important landmark in the game is the age of the trainer characters. They won’t be the tender age of ten anymore, fighting off the evil Team with the bad intentions, but will be significantly older and more mature. Both have brown hair and sport baseball caps with Pokeballs on them.

Seven new Pokemon have been released, three of them the first evolutions of the starters. No English names are known, but the Japanese ones are available. The Grass type starter is called “Tsutaja” and (to me) looks like a cross between a Kirlia/Ralts and a Treecko. The Fire type is “Pokabu” and looks to be a sort of pig. In my opinion, it’s half Spoink/Grumpig and half Cyndaquil. The final starter is the Water type “Mijumaru.” It greatly resembles a sea otter and has a little shell on it’s stomach. Intimidating Dark types “Zorua” and “Zoroark” will debut in the new movie Phantom Champion Zoroark that will release in Japan July 10th, 2010. And the main event, the two legendaries “Reshiram” and “Zekrom.” As is tradition, both are Dragon types, and it is rumored that Zekrom’s second type is Electric, but it hasn’t yet been confirmed.

The seven brand-spanking-new Pokemon live in the region of Isshu. It is largely urbanized with train tracks and large cities with skyscrapers. Even though the Isshu region is so populated, it is far from Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh, so those regions can only be reached by airplane or boat.

This Pokemon game revolution is set to be released in Japan in Fall of 2010. The date for the U.S. has been set for Spring 2011. The fifth generation has little verified information out at the current time, but is sure to please Pokemon fans around the world.

Ha, can't wait for the new games. x3 The new girl looks awesome, but somehow the guy looks like a girl disguised as a boy. o.o;;; But that's probably just me and my love for man-shes acting up. xDD

I like the legendaries too. The black one looks like some sort of demonic angel, which makes it look uber cool. x3 And the white one reminds me of this old Disney movie I can't remember the name of. o.o; But it had this giant, sort of dragon-like, white... thing. xD

Very excited here, everyone already knows. Always wanted the games to be in 3D and not GBA mode anymore. Isshu better have plenty of places that are grassy. Since it's going to be so urbanized, it would interesting if there were spots to catch Pokémon in the cities (just my own thought). If the kids are older, I wonder if the team will be more mature (instead of saying obvious things without thinking about it, but I doubt it xD). I've heard that the versions may be different other than the Pokémon they have as well, and that alone made me squeal in joy. That's a definite way to get people to buy both versions, other than for collecting.

Pokémon or moves won't be as static in the games, either. Clips:

Found out there's more Pokémon confirmed. I feel like they've all been too cute, and I think I'm mostly right. Chiramii's (nice name) cute and the others are fine. Not to mention the Zebra one is almost like the made-up I made for Imperfect Moon (I have to look back at its description to see how similiar).

There better not be a lot of past Pokémon in these games if it's so far away from the other regions like D&P.

The new legendaries are very appropriate. *_* Though, their types seem sort of strange. Shouldn't they be Dark and Ice instead? Those would be new. Reshiram reminds me of Caro's little dragon in Nanoha StrikerS. =b Dragon/Electric is interesting, but it doesn't exactly fit the appearance. And it's all about Pokabu over here; Fire Pigs FTW!

B&W's season has begun! And with it, a new motto for Team Rocket! I know a lot of people didn't like D&P's motto because it wasn't the classic one, but I don't see the problem with something new.

Anyway, here's the new one. And it's pretty awesome, isn't it? Foreboding! Got it over at the Toonzone forums here in this thread and page.

Not just that, but if you read the thread, everyone seems to be saying Team Rocket is acting more serious. More of a plot from them coming? I skipped through one of the episodes myself and saw them talking to Giovanni on a computer - so perhaps it's true. With that and Team Plasma, who knows what epic things are on the way.

They've returned to the regular Team Rocket outfit with the red R, like what Cassidy and Butch wore. Maybe that indicated they indeed are serious this time and are trying to show their changes. Or they just wanted them to wear something cooler, and I must admit, they do look quite awesome in it!
