[CURRENT POLL] What should be in the TML Gazette?

Hello everyone of The Magical Leaf,

Today is a day of opinions! We wish to know what you want to see in future The Magical Leaf Gazette issues, so please vote in the above poll with at least three marked choices. For the first two gazettes we merely covered Pokémon information, but from now on we are curious to know what you want to see next in the forum's current news! Which, lately, has not been quite current.

As for the roleplaying/writing option in the above poll, we will add more tidbits about both regardless (like tidbit facts). I suppose, along with that, a fun fact of the day or something would suffice.

Out of curiousity, is anyone interested in writing weekly editions? Usually I would reserve this for the staff members, but I'm feeling like it could be an option to get more people involved in the forum. The gazettes don't have to be extremely long or anything - check out the two we have posted in this section to get a general idea. Or check out these extremely outdated versions from the Moon Forest section, or the Weekly News Articles (WASs) Editions 1-11. Who knows, if you may want to write as a news poster, the staff might agree and there might be a possibility someone could.

But right now, discuss your choices and talk about any new ones you can think of to give us great ideas to bring to everyone! Make sure there's plenty to talk about with your idea, too. It doesn't have to be a specific thing like gaming but can be a certain game coming out soon to fire up a lively discussion. We will see which ideas are the most popular and use those first.

That's a good idea. Probably every month for the characters, though, since characters aren't made all that often and to do it weekly would go through them all pretty fast.

I think we could make it interactive by holding polls and other things, in order to include things such as fandom. However, I don't think it would make sense to just add in reviews... we might not all agree in our interests. So then the top choice of the polls would have something written on them? I also think that a featured section of a character or member or whatever would be nice. :3 But maybe when role plays are picked up a bit more. I think if that wouldn't work, assigning random members sections to specialize in and have things be put together would work too (for music, anime, etc.). My ideas aren't very good, but I tried. TwT

... I just realized the Gazette and the newsletter are two different things. o-o; All derping aside...

Is this for what should be in the next Gazette or what we should include in all future Gazettes? Because personally, I think all the Gazettes should have a bit of everything mixed in. Like Suki suggested, we could have various members volunteer for a different section(s) and have them PM their part to the main Gazette poster who can post it all.
Also, I think having it updated weekly is a bit much. We're all busy with schoolwork and all, and it seems like a bother to update it so often. Once a month is fine, I think. Unless they're intended to be short, then I suppose once a week is fine. xD;

Out of curiosity, what would one write for the roleplaying section? Tips? Or would we be doing characters of the month, etc.?

And I don't really have anything to contribute as for new ideas. o-o;
Ah... I can write video game previews/reviews. And I suppose anime/manga reviews. But then, I'm not a staff member, so. xD;

I'm liking this Character/'s of the month idea.

Asking some to volunteer toward what is in the gazette would be useful, perhaps assigning one or two staff members to just do quality checks and such. And like Elite said, I like the idea of the Gazette having a bit of everything. A little bit of Role playing tips alongside the character of the month, a small short story entry or something, and a related RL review.

For example, the character of the month might be used mainly in SciFi's, so the the RL review might be on a Scifi movie or book to add some flow in the Gazette?
