One) Description of Me

My nickname, and favorite name, is Sarah. Kisuru is fine along with other nicknames. I am eighteen-years-old, am female, and in live in the USA. At the end of April 2004 I began to roleplay Pokémon, and have slowly drifted into different roleplays as time dragged on. Sometimes I'm still a little reluctant to turn away from the niche genres I've dealt with for years, but if I say I'll try something, I will. So please don't take it the wrong way if I may not sound too enthusiastic about a roleplay; I'd tell you if I didn't want to do it anymore.

My interests revolve around anime, manga, animals (rabbits!), sweets (chocolate~), the color purple, and writing in different levels (writing my own stories, or helping others to shape their stories and characters better, for example).

People say I tend to get bored easily, but I don't get bored of talking with people and /love/ to chat. In fact, I'm usually the one who thinks of all the topics to talk about if we run out, using all of my random adventures over the Internet as entertainment. I'm a nice person, super random, and a tad stubborn, though I don't intentionally mean to be rude. I use smilies a lot, and it might take a while to get used to me. But everyone might be relieved to know I'm flexible, so don't feel any pressure to ask me anything. Even if you don't want to roleplay with me but want to talk, that is certainly fine.

Two) My Guidelines

I do not require you to have a fancy font to roleplay with me. No certain amount of words and sentences, and no telling you to have a huge intro with tons of intricate words. A decent length of a couple sentences would suffice, but more is always appreciated. I do want you to check on all of he regular things like puncuation, grammar, capitalization, and to refrain from one-liners every post. Typos are understandable, of course. Try your best and take as much time as you need.

Along with this, I wish to not classify myself with a literacy level. There are times where I'll post plenty of description, and there are times I'll have writing block issues. I believe I write pretty well, so I'd like you to try to be on a similiar level. Basically, just write to the best of your abilities. Think about what you're writing and give me a piece you put heart into instead of a one-liner each post. Quanity does not mean quality; that's how I look at the situation. I'll love you if you do that. Don't allow your literacy level or status of how long you've been roleplaying get in the way of contacting me. All I ask is common-sense and not to have someone who will give me replies without any shred of thought.

Since I like to chat, I would prefer to have someone who will talk to me and roleplay at once. I want to know my roleplay partner instead of feeling isolated. I joke around, but I do not stray away from the roleplay. We can always work things out, and I'm not going to demand you change anything for small reasons. If there are some differences, I'll see what we can do to change the situation.

In the beginning, I'd prefer to talk about the roleplay before-hand. If I do not have a character for a certain roleplay, keep in mind it may take a while to finish their creation and intros. But I'll try to complete that part of it ASAP. One roleplay at a time, too. Even if you want to do two we can always get to another one later. No short-term roleplays. Give me a nice long-term. Besides this, I double and may play another canon or made-up I may not mention with my genres.

If you are tired of the roleplay or don't wish to roleplay with me anymore, tell me. Perhaps we can start a new roleplay or put it on-hold. If you plainly just need to take a break, will not be on for a while, or are too busy at the moment to roleplay, those are fine. Just tell me and we can work around it. Don't leave ignore me after contacting me once. If you decide to contact me, it's worth it to explain how you feel, right? I'll do it with you, so I expect the same.

I get on frequently throughout the week. Nearly every day, but I might be off for a while for several reasons. My posts will most likely be slow, though. I put plenty of thought into my posts and take my time - especially on intros and lengthy posts. It might even take a couple hours to write, or until the next day. So please keep that in mind. Without rushing my work is tremendously better. It takes me a little bit to write because I multitask or there's no motivation at the moment. However, I will always try to make the wait worth your time and refuse to give someone a one-liner if they wait on me for an extended time. Note that I will be on during the weekends for the bulk of my time during the school year. Please be at least be mildly active.

Try to put some depth into your characters. I'm not too fond of roleplaying with characters who have more details on their appearance than personality. It's like tallking to pretty cardboard. If you're trying someone out for the first time or have not used them for a while, that's fine. That may even happen to me, so I fully understand that. But on a regular basis, characters who have some interesting traits, in my opinion, are more fun to roleplay with than ones never developed or have a longer description of their clothes.

The basic rules of roleplay apply. No godsmode or powerplay, etc. We can use out-of-character and in-character tags, but I'm the type who believes they're not as needed in a roleplay that's not taking place on a multi-player board. So if you absolutely wish for me to use them, please tell me.

Violence and Language. I do -

1) Allow gore and weapons. Violence on any level is decent, but keep in mind some common-sense. Like, don't allow your character to go completely crazy and destroy everything in site within one post.
2) Allow all cursing. I am a little sketchy on the harsher curse words and prefer to not read them often, though.
3) Please don't post curse words in every line. Try to keep it spaced out and in good measure. Otherwise, it just looks like a mess of filthy words.
4) Not use violence or cursing if someone tells me they're uncomfortable with it.

Romance. I do -

1) Not like instant relationships. Please let us develop their love instead of instantly skipping there. There's no fun if that's the case.
2) MxF, MxM, and FxF.
3) Pairings I've set and made-up ones.
4) Possibly different pairings. Ask.
5) Usually prefer to be male, but female is equel in awesome.
6) Have no particular stop-point. No extra limits.
7) Want a plot to side with the romance. We can develop one before the roleplay or as it progresses. Starting off without no plot in mind happens all of the time, and I'm sure we'd be able to conjure something interesting as our characters grow to know each other. I'm a romantic and a traditionalist in my beliefs, to most cases, but romance alone is tiresome.
8) Not always have to have romance in a roleplay. It could always be centered on action or friendship.

Three) Genres

Below are symbols to show how I feel about each genre. There will be commentary to explain. Some roleplays I've never actually tried but I'd like to attempt. So even if I haven't done it, please at least try it with me. You never know, it could grow on me pretty fast. Keep in mind, some items may have lower scores because I've never done it or do not remember important parts of the material since I viewed or read it a while back. You may have to beg me to do something I don't seem to enthusiastic about. ^^;

Commentary| Personally, I think everything's been mostly done in the show that could be, but there's always a possibility we could think of an interesting plot. As of yet, I have not seen past episode seventeen of R2, so I have yet to see everything in the end.

Commentary| I love this title with all of my little heart and soul. Light is my favorite character of all-time, so I'd love to play him. We could always start at the beginning when the Death Note is found, or create some other little difference from the main version of the world. I can easily understand how this could get bland with the basic find Death Note formula and kill people, but I'd be willing to think of different ways to spice everything up. I've seen the whole anime and read some of the manga, so keep in mind I'm not familiar with the manga.

Commentary| Love this series. Though, I've forgotten tons since watching everything a few years ago, like the exact magic. StikerS is a pretty foggy in my mind, too. But that does not stop me from dedicating myself to find a way to roleplay it! Never seen a roleplay for this before (not surprising), so I'd like to see what could happen. There are plenty of other characters, but Nanoha and Fate of course stand-out.

Commentary| As a child, I hated Pokémon when it hit the scene during its fad time in America. Later, though, it simply became my first and main roleplay genre. Love it completely now. I'm ninty-five percent sure to choose this over anything else you suggest. I have a fond spot for Dawn, and that's why I'd like to try her. I'm pretty well-acquinated with all of the other mains of the genre as well, so it's a maybe to do someone else. Seen plenty of episodes from every season including Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh.

Five) Contacts

I may not agree to a contact, but it's an available option if I say it is. If you want any of the places I don't really use, you may have to convince me. I can get tired of one contact, and I may ask to use another, but we'll see what happens. Some of these places I don't check like Neomail and Gaia Online, so please take note of this. I've been using e-mail and messangers more, so those are better suited. If you contact me with offensive and such replies, I will most likely block you. I am sorry if I do not get back to you for a while. Really, I am, because I never forget about roleplays.
