I'm not sure if this is the right place for this, but... I declare it to be so. xD Anyways, I was just wondering if anyone else here would be interested in trying a roleplay based on the genre of Film Noir? I just think it would be fun to try roleplaying in the Noir style of narration. :3 But I don't know if anyone here agrees, or if any of you have ever seen any Film Noir. By the way, I recommend watching the film "Double Indemnity". ^^ It's my favorite of the Noir films I've seen.

I've not watched many Noir films, but I love the concepts they involve. Admittedly, it might be hard to match the style exactly, but it would be such a fun opportunity to practice and expand upon style that it would be worth it. If it happens, count me in.

I haven't really watched a lot (or really any - I mean, I know I must have seen at least one at some point but I can't think of what it/they might have been xD) so I, too, might not know the style of the narrative. However, one of my favorite characters to play is a 1930's/1940's detective. So, yeah, count me in, too. :3

So I watched Double Indemnity in film and I would totally do something like this. :3 My Film Studies teacher is obsessed with that style, so we've seen a few and some Hitchcock kind of similar...Maltese Falcon, Sunset Blvd., and Notorious are the other ones. ^^ I really liked Notorious and Sunset Blvd, you should check them out. c:

I haven't seen too many myself, certainly less than ten. But it might be fun to try stumbling around together. :3 I'll try to get a board up soon, and we'll see how it goes!
The character that gave me the idea for this was inspired by the Maltese Falcon. :3 And Sunset Blvd. is also a great film! Noirs are so much fun, dark as they are.
