Sorry guys, but it's time for some blatent advertisement. =P
Anyways. If any of you know anyone with an iPhone, please encourage them to get the game Warsquared for it! The game itself is free, so I'm not asking anyone to spend money. xD The reason I bring it up is that the game was made by my brother and a few of his friends, so I feel that it is my civic duty to advertise it. The game was just released a few days ago, and is still in beta version - therefore, it would be really helpful if anyone played it and maybe poked me with any comments about it.
And maybe you'll end up enjoying the game quite a bit, who knows. =P Currently there's no single player mode, so you do need two people with iPhones to play.
But yes. Help Sarin spread the word so her brother's game can begin taking over the world spreading. ^^

Oh, that's cool, Sarin. =o I don't have an iPhone, but I'd play it if I could. What's the game about? It sounds like something you'd use weapons in, but I don't know anything about the requirements for graphics and stuff on the iPhone.
Does someone have to pay to put beta versions, or can they just put them up? It sounds expensive. o.o And your brother sounds like he's quite the creator or things like that. xD I still promise we'll use the generator he created when he reopen MF. Apologize from me that we just haven't gotten the chance to use it yet. =x

The game is a mix between real-time strategy games and trading card games. Basically, you can collect cards (virtually) which represent creatures, buildings, and spells. Then you go up against another person and summon those (or cast the spells) in a real-time battle to destroy the other person's castle while protecting your own. There's a storyline behind it as well, although I don't know the whole story - the theme of the game is steampunk, so one of the races is the Mechanicals, for example. But there's also magic mixed in with the Elemental race, and if you like cyborg animals, then there's an Animal race as well. The art is high-quality - if you want to see some examples, you can look up Manifold Studios on Facebook. :3 They have some of their art posted up there.
I believe Apple makes you pay to submit an App. However, now that it's been approved, they'll be able to edit the approved version without having to resubmit it, which is good. He's been programming all his life, so he's pretty good at it. :3 He's probably forgotten about that. xD

Oh, very interesting. ^^ The Elementals and Thorgatz seems cool. Who doesn't love the all-battle types? xD Nice art. Dark and sets the mood~
Sounds good. =o A bunch of people can enjoy it then and there's no headaches! I'll mention it to anyone I know with an iPhone. Which isn't really anyone now, but. Well. In fact, I could tweet about it. 'Cause you know, Twitter is the way of the future.
Yeah, but still. =x

I think I'm getting an iTouch this Christmas (My first /ever/ Apple thing!) and I was wondering if it was also on the iTouch? D= I would love to support Sarin's brother's game. xD;

Daniel says that it should work on the iTouch, unless it's an extremely early version without any sort of wireless. :3 (And congratulations! =P)
This is really belated news, but the game was featured by Apple for a little while~ so it now has over 15,000 downloads! I'm not sure if anyone has actually bought anything yet, but it's neat that a good number of people have been playing it.
Oh, and this is also very belated, but there's a single player version now so you don't need two iPhones to be able to play.

I wish I had some of those things. iTouch, iPod, iPad . . . but I don't know, I've just never got any of them. xD; Does anyone know which is the best out of those? And don't look at me like that. I've just never gotten one. The computer was always enough for me. And cool. ^^ That's a lot of downloads. It seems people like it, then. =b And being featured does always help.
